Floating License

A Floating License is hardware independent and is the ideal choice if you plan to swap your LogicalDOC hardware quite frequently or if you install in a virtualized or containerized environment where you cannot control the hardware.

Licenses of this type require constant connection to the remote LogicalDOC License Manager over the Internet, so you cannot use floating licenses if your installation cannot have a stable Internet connection.

It is not admitted to have the same floating license installed in more than one installation at a time.

To check if you are using a floating, open the license page and check the flag Floating.
