LogicalDOC is an enterprise electronic document management system which is extremely useful for both small and large companies.  It is a valuable tool in knowledge management processing that provides a more flexible and lower-cost alternative to other proprietary applications.

Installation Guide

With LogicalDOC, users can centralize all of their company's information in a single access point, which guarantees data security. As a result, only authorized users will have access to specific data.  LogicalDOC also provides a complete audit service. It is a Web 2.0 application that is compatible with the Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, and Chrome browsers. The periodic backups avoid information losses.

LogicalDOC provides indexing of the most common file types including: MS Office documents, OpenOffice/LibreOffice, PDF, HTML, XML, JPEG, etc. Its powerful search engine indexes all types of documents which makes it easy to find any type of information.

 

Administrator's Guide

LogicalDOC is an advanced system that allows you to handle a large volume of data. Once installed, you will be able to configure customize it in order to maximize the benefits from your installation.

This manual is intended for use by the administrators and power users who are responsible for implementing the system to meet the needs of the entire organization. This section provides the guidance that is needed in order to configure the LogicalDOC system.

 

User's Guide

LogicalDOC is an entirely web-based application for archiving documents. Once installed and connected to the Internet or your private network, you can easily use the program with a browser without having to install additional software.

This manual is dedicated end users that will access the system for their document management needs.  It will describe all of the LogicalDOC features.

Developer's Guide

LogicalDOC can be used as middleware and can be integrated with other systems by the use of the built-in Web Service. The Web Service module is part of the LogicalDOC core distribution and is compliant with W3C specifications SOAP and MTOM.

This manual is dedicated to developers that will interact with LogicalDOC from 3rd party applications.  It will describe how to integrate LogicalDOC.
