Patch

Between a release and another we make available patches to correct errors, security holes or improve the performances.

We spend a lot of time making sure that software is error free, however because of the large variety of configurations and environments we cannot assure total absence of issues, for this reason we prepare patches to correct those issues that our customers report to us.

Respect the sequence of Patches

If more patches apply to your current release, you must install them following the numbering. Suppose that the three patches 084, 085, 086 apply to your current release, and you are mostly interested in a fix available in the 086, you should anyway  install the patch 084, then the 085 and finally the 086.
